  1. Peel and dice the onions. Melt the lard in a pot and cook the onion until translucent.
  2. Sprinkle in the paprika and stir. After about 1 minute, before the paprika can burn and turn bitter, add the pork cut into roughly 1 cm cubes.
  3. Stir, season with salt, and cook over medium heat for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Pour in about 100 ml hot water, stir again, cover and simmer over medium heat until the pork is tender.
  5. When the pork is tender, cook uncovered for a few more minutes until the sauce is thick.
  6. Serve hot with nokedli if desired.
