  1. Boil the peeled potatoes in salted water until tender, about 18 minutes, and keep warm.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan and soften the onion. Add the sliced frankfurters and brown them lightly.
  3. Sprinkle the flour over and stir for a minute, then add the tomato paste.
  4. Pour in the milk gradually while stirring and let the sauce simmer for 5-6 minutes until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve the sauce over the boiled potatoes.
