- Cook the penne in salted water according to the packet, then drain.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan and soften the chopped onion for 3 minutes, then add the garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add the beef mince, breaking it up, and brown for 5-6 minutes.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, Italian herbs and salt and simmer 8 minutes, then fold the pasta through and serve.
